While You Are Waiting, Grow!—Scripture: Genesis 39:1-8, 19-23, 40

Key Character Thought:
“We must be careful not to let the root of bitterness grow in our lives because the Lord has not moved on our time table.”

“Just because it has not happened yet, does not mean it will not happen:  In other words not now does not mean never.”

Remember in your developmental process as people of God, delay is not always denial. Sometimes God is just working out the details!

As we move through this year, let us not grow weary in doing what is right because things are not going according to our plan. We are in a developmental pattern and only God knows when we will come out and only God knows what is required to make us fit for kingdom use. So my friends, as the Lord hammers out His will on and in your life just rest assured that He that has started a good work in you will not quit in the middle of the process but He will see it through to your expected end.

Consider:
While you are waiting, build your prayer life, enhance your knowledge of the Word, and finally praise Him, praise Him, praise Him in the morning, praise Him in the noon time, praise Him when the sun goes down!

Pray:
Lord I don’t know when, and I don’t know how, but I do know who will bring me out and I thank you.

Determined to live by faith,
Dr. Stan
