I often hear Christians say, “As Long as I have King Jesus I don’t need anyone else.” Well that might sound good in a song but it is not theological, neither is it practical. God made us to live in fellowship with each other. If God did not want you to talk to anyone, or need anyone he would have made you totally self sufficient, but we are not. The fact is this we need each other.
Beloved, develop Godly friendships, by being a friend, forgiver, and faith partner. These are the qualities of friendship that last a lifetime.
Consider:
Jesus fellowshipped and had close friends in his walk, are you greater than our Lord and savior?
Pray:
Lord make me friendly so that I might make friends.
